Our History

The McLane family name has been synonymous with food logistics and supply chain solutions for more than 120 years. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, McLane Global has a growing network of food-grade logistics facilities in Texas, California and Utah, as well as top international markets including the Middle East, China, Southeast Asia and beyond. Our Team

Denton McLane

Chairman

For the past fifteen years, Denton McLane has been directly responsible for managing McLane Global on behalf of McLane Group. He is responsible for creating and implementing company strategy and overseeing the executive management team. Denton also sits on the family investment committee and is involved with investment strategy.

Prior to joining the McLane Global, Denton worked in several industries. He worked in professional sports for the Nashville Predators and the Houston Astros. Additionally, Denton worked for the international businesses of the McLane family in Portugal and Poland. Other career experience includes the recording industry (EMI Christian music) and real estate investing. Denton lives in Birmingham, Alabama and holds a BBA degree in Economics from Baylor University and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Alabama.

Todd Frease

President & CEO

Todd’s more than 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance within the grocery industry allow him to navigate the complex challenges of the business. His leadership plays a vital role within our management team. Todd graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a BA in Accounting and Finance. Earning his CPA in the state of Ohio in 1993, he joined The Kroger Co. and held positions in Audit, Tax, as well as Assistant Corporate Controller of The Kroger Co. and Director of Finance for the Southwest Division of The Kroger Co. encompassing the Texas/Louisiana Division. Todd is responsible for the Domestic Sales Division and International Sales Division of McLane Global. His previous position within the organization was Senior Vice President.

John Pollock

Vice President of Global Sourcing

John Pollock is our Vice President of Global Sourcing. He is a 25 year veteran in the food industry with over 10 years of international direct procurement experience. He began his food career in 1995 with Darden Restaurants as a seafood buyer and then accepted a role to manage the seafood category at Sysco Corporation in 2000. He held various roles at Sysco in sourcing and category management, including the creation of Sysco’s global procurement teams based in Hong Kong and Ireland. He has a BS degree in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA from the University of Denver. Born and raised in Venezuela, he is fluent in Spanish. John’s background and experience provide McLane Global the ability to discover and develop strong international supplier relationships improving our product options and costs for our customers.

Patrick Kerim

Vice President of Sales

RETAIL, CLUB CHANNEL

Patrick Kerim is Vice President of U.S. Sales with 25 years of experience developing and managing food and non-food programs for retailers and national brand owners in the USA and overseas. He is an expert at business development, global sourcing, private label, and contract manufacturing. He has worked in both the import/export and manufacturing areas, with his most recent position at a €600 million per year multi-category food manufacturer with 17 factories around the world.

His main focus at McLane Global is the U.S. Sales and Manufacturing division, where he is responsible for developing sales to the retail, government, and national brand owner segments. In addition, he provides guidance, leads, sources, and knowledge to other team members in the international, hunger relief, food service, procurement, and logistics divisions of the company. Patrick has a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of California, Davis and speaks English, Spanish, French, and conversational Arabic.

Dustin Aglietti

National Foodservice Sales Manager

FOODSERVICE

Dustin joins McLane Global as the National Sales Manager for our Foodservice division, helping identify solutions that bring the most value to our customers. Raised in Westchester County, NY, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from Marist College, Poughkeepsie. Dustin brings 10+ years’ experience in the food industry working for major national importers, with a strong background in Mediterranean foods, industrial-sized canned goods and sourcing unique products from around the globe. With the addition of Dustin to the McLane Global sales team, we are able to offer value and growth opportunities through foodservice products for National Chains and Distributors.

Kathy Soliz

Sales Associate

ALTERNATIVE CHANNELS, SPECIALTY RETAIL

With over 6 years in the customer service field in north Houston, Kathy Soliz’s fluency in both English and Spanish has proven invaluable over her career with the Health and Human Services Department of Texas. Kathy, a Houston native, will be attending school and majoring in accounting. She assists the accounting team with mailing and receiving invoices, filing, payment claims, payment and data entry relating to accounts receivable and payable, in addition to an ever growing list of accounting tasks as her education and experience expand. Her eagerness to gain a working knowledge in the field of her study, while continuing to work toward becoming a CPA, has made her a valuable asset to the Mclane Global team.

Sri Godavarthy

Quality Assurance Manager

Sri is a proven Quality and Food Safety leader with more than a decade of experience in driving foodservice operations. She has experience across multiple industries specializing in managing quality control and food safety in compliance with local and federal regulatory authorities and manufacturing processes. She is a highly skilled auditor for internal and external audits with certifications and skills in HACCP, SQF, BRC, PCQI, FSVP, GMP, ISO, NSF, QMS, and SAP. Sri is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive programs involving supply chain food safety, product integrity, and quality assurance domestically and internationally in McLane Global. She holds an MBA in Business Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a second Master’s in Computer Science from India.

Casey Stermer

Operations Manager

Casey joins the McLane Global team as Operations Manager for McLane Global Manufacturing. Casey brings several years of leadership experience in the food production industry. Combining his experiences from the US Army and prior food production knowledge, Casey will create an engaged, customer-focused culture at McLane Global Manufacturing. Casey is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan and lives in North Dakota presently. He is currently attending the University of Jamestown pursuing a degree in Industrial Management. He also holds certificates in HACCP, SQF, PCQI and Internal Auditor training. Casey’s goal is to make the highest quality, safest products for our customers!
